Overview

The Twelfth Judicial District’s Restoring Emerging Adults with Connection and Hope Court (REACH), opened in October, 2025, is a treatment court for system involved young people ages of 18 to 25 with substance use, mental health, behavioral health, and social service needs. Participants must have adjudicated felony criminal cases.

The REACH goal is to improve outcomes for participants, reduce recidivism, and increase public safety. REACH will not only provide traditional outpatient substance, mental health, and behavioral health treatment with supervision and surveillance; but will also provide multi-disciplinary, trauma informed team support; individualized, developmentally appropriate case plans; peer navigation; connection to community; and healing through the arts. Participants will also be assisted in securing social services; as well as educational, vocational, and employment opportunities.

REACH seeks to support participants in their healing journey and to instill a sense of community belonging, pride, and purpose. REACH strives to prepare young people for a life beyond the treatment court, out of the criminal justice system.
